About our Office
Services:
Our services fall under two divisions: Academic and Conduct advising. The Academic & Conduct Divisions help students suspected of violating the Student Code of Conduct or disputes in other University-related entities such as OSSJA, UCD Housing & Dining Services, or the Colleges.
Academic & Conduct caseworkers can assist at any stage of the process, including attending meetings and hearings in an advisory capacity and answering questions about conduct procedures and other resources.
We understand that navigating Behavioral and Academic disputes can be very isolating and stressful. However, SAO supports students every step of the way. Our peer-to-peer support model aims to explain University policies and the Student Code of Conduct. By breaking down these complex systems, we hope to make the disciplinary process less stressful for fellow students.
We connect student with an academic and/or conduct advisor who will schedule a 1-1 consultation. Further information regarding our office and services can be found on our Student Advocate Office Instagram account @sao.asucd and our intake form can be found at our SAO ASUCD linktree.
We look forward to hearing from you!
